Frequently asked questions
Short, straight answers about the free agent portal, agency plans, call tracking workspaces, the wallet, and how buy3 keeps your account and data safe.
Getting started
What is buy3?
buy3 is an inbound call tracking platform, sold as two products. The first routes live inbound calls to enrolled agents in real time, logs every call with a recording and transcript, and handles sales, QC reviews and payouts in the same place — a free portal for agents, a console for agencies, and a variant built for insurance agencies. The second is a call tracking workspace for publishers, networks and brokers: your own numbers, your own buyers, routing plans and real-time bidding, with every call explained.
Who is buy3 for?
Three groups. Independent agents who want a steady queue of live inbound calls, the tools to work them — scripts, lead lists, SMS, calendar — and a wallet that holds what they earn. Agencies that run teams of agents on campaigns and need routing, rosters, analytics, compliance filing and billing under one roof, with a portal variant for insurance agencies. And publishers, networks and brokers who buy, sell or route calls to buyers of their own, and need tracking numbers, routing plans, real-time bidding and a record of why every call went where it went.
Is the agent portal really free?
Yes — free forever, not a trial. Agents get the dashboard, the Get Calls queue, campaign enrollment, sale submission, call logs with recordings and transcripts, a calendar with Google Calendar connect, lead lists with AI verification, an SMS inbox, call scripts, the training university, the AI trainer and the referral program at no subscription cost. Usage you choose to buy — like a dedicated phone number — is funded from your wallet, so you only ever pay for what you use.
Do I need a card to start a trial?
No. The Gold partner and Platinum partner agency plans start with a 3-day free trial and we don't ask for a card to begin it. Silver partner costs $0 USD per month, so it never needs a trial at all.
Referrals
How does the referral programme work?
Every buy3 account has a referral link, on the Referrals page of the dashboard. Somebody who signs up through it — or types your code into the sign-up form — is recorded as your referral. You are paid a bounty when their account activates (their first deposit, first billed call, or paid plan) and a share of what they spend for a set period, and they get a welcome credit. The current amounts are always on the Refer and earn page.
Does referring somebody add them to my agency?
No. A referral is an independent account — an agent with their own workspace, or an agency if they buy a plan — and it is never attached to your team or org chart. To bring an agent onto your floor, send them an invitation from the agency console. Referral rewards are yours personally and land in your personal wallet, not an agency wallet.
Plans & billing
What happens when the 3-day trial ends?
You decide. Add a payment method and your plan continues without interruption. If you don't, the paid console features pause — nothing is charged, and your data stays put so you can pick up exactly where you left off whenever you subscribe.
Will I ever be charged without warning?
No. We send reminder emails before any charge and before anything is paused, so the end of a trial or an upcoming renewal is never a surprise.
How do I cancel?
Any time, from your agency's billing settings — no phone call, no notice period. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your paid features run to the end of the period you have already paid for. If you would rather have the money back, any charge can be refunded in full within 14 days, no reason needed. You can also move down a tier instead: Silver partner is $0 USD per month, so there is always somewhere to land without losing your account or your data.Read the refund policy
Who charges my card?
You buy from TODO_LEGAL: legal entity name directly — there is no reseller in between — so our name is what appears on your statement and we issue your invoice. Stripe, Inc., our payment processor, handles the payment and the card details; buy3 never sees your card number. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax. Depending on where you are based you may owe sales tax, VAT or GST on this purchase; that is not collected at checkout and remains your responsibility.Terms of service
What's the difference between the subscription and the wallet?
They pay for different things. The subscription pays for the agency console — seats, sub-agencies, analytics and, on Gold partner and Platinum partner, the live board — plus any add-on you have turned on, such as white-label branding. The wallet funds calling costs: phone numbers, carrier usage on the calls you place, and balances moving to agents. Every wallet runs on an integer-cents double-entry ledger, so each cent is recorded twice and balances always reconcile. Agencies can grant funds to agent wallets and reclaim what goes unused.
How does buy3 make money?
A processing fee on every wallet deposit — 5% on the free agent portal, 6% on Silver partner, 5% on Gold partner and 4% on Platinum partner — plus the carrier cost of the calls and messages you send, re-billed at what it costs us. There is no per-call take on your campaign earnings. Paid tiers trade a monthly fee for a lower fee on the money you move, so the more you deposit, the sooner a tier pays for itself.
What is not included in Silver partner?
Silver partner has no live board and an organisation one level deep — you can bring on a sub-agency, but that sub-agency cannot invite agencies beneath itself. Gold partner and Platinum partner lift those limits. White-label branding and a custom domain are not a tier feature at all — they are a paid add-on you can turn on from any tier, at $200 USD a month.
Agencies
Can I run sub-agencies?
Yes. Sub-agencies nest as deep as you need, so you can model regions, teams or downline partners under one parent agency. How many sub-agencies you can create depends on your partner tier — the pricing page lists the current limits.
What does white-label include?
Your logo, your palette, your own domain and a custom login screen. Agents you invite sign in on your brand, not ours. It is a paid add-on billed monthly on top of whatever tier you are on — $200 USD a month, as a second line item on the same subscription.See add-on pricing
Can I use my own phone numbers and have my own agents answer them?
Yes — that is the Inbound Calling add-on, $49 USD a month on top of any tier. You buy a number from inside your console, create a line, point the number at it, pick who answers from your own roster, and launch it. A line only goes on the air once it has a number and at least one agent on it, and until then it tells you which of the two is missing. How it works
What does a call on my own number cost?
Nobody is selling you the caller, so there is no lead price and nothing per call. You pay three things: the add-on each month, rent on each number you hold — whether a line is answering on it or not — and the carrier's minutes on the calls you actually take, from your agency wallet. Release a number you have finished with and its rent stops.
What happens to my own numbers if I cancel the add-on?
Your lines stop answering straight away and your settings, your roster and your call history all stay exactly as they are — add the add-on again and the lines go back on the air by themselves. The numbers stay yours and keep renting, because we keep paying the carrier for them; release them yourself if you are finished with them. Nothing is deleted and no number is given back to the carrier without you asking.
How do I invite agents?
From the agent roster, by email invitation. Each person gets a role — owner, admin or agent — that controls what they can see and do. Once agents are on board, you can watch them on the live board while they take calls, grant wallet funds for their calling costs, and follow them in performance analytics.
What's different about the insurance portal?
It's a variant of the agency console built for insurance agencies. On top of the standard tools it adds readiness tracking, a recruiting pipeline, license (NPN) management, carrier appointments and orientation — so taking a new producer from application to first call is tracked in one place.
Call tracking
What is a call tracking workspace?
A product of its own, beside the agent and agency portals, for publishers, networks and brokers. You buy tracking numbers, add the buyers you sell calls to and build a routing plan. Every call that lands on one of your numbers is then routed to a buyer, recorded, priced and explained — each call keeps a waterfall of every check it passed, every target that was considered and why, and every dial attempt. It has its own console, its own plans and its own wallet. How call tracking works
What does call tracking cost?
There are plans — Launch, Growth and Network — and each has a monthly price, a per-minute rate (from 2.5¢ to 4.5¢ per connected minute) and caps on how many campaigns, numbers and buyers you may have. Launch is $0 USD a month. Minutes are charged per started minute once a buyer answers, from your workspace wallet, and a call nobody answers costs nothing. Each tracking number also has a setup fee and a monthly rent, shown before you buy it.See call tracking pricing
Do you charge per ping?
No. Bids from your own sub-publishers are part of every call tracking plan, and pinging outside buyers for a price is included on the Growth and Network plans, and sold as the RTB add-on (+$79 USD/mo) on the Launch plan. Either way a ping is never billed — not the ones your sub-publishers send you, and not the ones you send your buyers. You pay for connected minutes.
Does buy3 hold the money my buyers pay me?
No. A tracking call is settled on the books only: buy3 records what the buyer owes you and what you owe the publisher on each call, so your reports are right, and moves none of it. Your buyers pay you directly, and you pay your publishers directly. The only money that leaves your workspace wallet is platform usage — connected minutes and number rent.
Can I bring publishers who already ping another platform?
Yes. Each publisher's lane on a campaign can switch on a single-step ping URL that takes Ringba-style parameters and answers in Ringba's field names, so a publisher repoints one URL instead of building a new integration. On the buying side, a target that bids in real time comes with response presets for Ringba, Retreaver and TrackDrive. The single-step URL cannot be used with a key that requires signed requests, because the URL itself is the credential. The Ringba-compatible ping
Is there an API?
Yes — a REST API with scoped keys, on every call tracking plan. A key reads calls, campaigns, targets, buyers, publishers, numbers, reports and pings, and can report conversions, tag calls, change a routing plan, change a target's price and caps, pause and resume, and manage the blocklist. Creating campaigns, buyers, targets and numbers stays in the console.API reference
Security & data
How is my account protected?
Two-factor authentication is available on every account, and session management shows each device signed in to your account so you can revoke any session you don't recognize.
Is there an audit log?
Yes — a full audit log across the platform. Changes to accounts, wallets, campaigns and settings are recorded, and QC call reviews and dispute resolution add their own trail on individual calls and sales.
Who can see my data?
Access is role-based. Owner, admin and agent roles each see only what the role allows, and an agency sees the campaign work of its own agents — nobody else's. On plans that include them, developers can extend access deliberately through API keys and outbound webhooks, which you create and revoke yourself — each key carries only the scopes you give it, and every request it makes is logged.
